It's been a long time!

It's been a long time since I last posted. I have been rather busy traveling. I went to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. Lack of sleep throughout the month of September, and finally it is over and now I am moving into my low season.

In Kuala Lumpur, I was almost cheated by young scammers who hung around KL Sentral and Monorial. They were handing me a lucky draw card which they asked me to open and I may get discount coupon of either 20% 30% 40% or 50% for their company's electrical product and they will get a few RM commission out of it. If I get nothing, it's gonna be just a 'thank you' on the card. I opened up and it was some large prize, the youngster that handed me the card gave me a very confused look and pretended that they have never seen the card before. He then checked with his follow colleagues and referred to his news cutting, showing me the news of people winning the car, high value product or holiday package to Turkey. He told me that I need to go to 3rd level of mid valley to scan the code in the card to see what I actually get. He congratulate me and shook my hand and persuaded me to go and scan the prize. I told him to give to his friends or other people passing by, I had to go, bye bye and I crossed the road... ===> I was rather surprised and skeptical by his action. He was surprised and showed the confused and said that he was not aware of what I get in the draw. But within half a minute, he was able to show me a news paper cutting which showed the past winner. What was he doing? trying to conn a primary school kid? I think my niece wouldn't even fall for his trap.

I realise that life is never easy, many people try very hard to strive for the best in the society. Everyone tries his/her best to earn a living. Some even sacrifices his/herself for the rice. The society is getting worse and the world is not becoming a better place to live in.

1st October 2011 is the world's vegetarian day. This year, the vegetarian period falls on this month as well. Yesterday I watched a video "farm to fridge" and it made me very sad. To get the nice food, animals are being tortured to death. The processes are very scary. I do not want to talk about it further. Let's all celebrate the world vegetarian day by being vegetarian!

Johor Bahru during Ramadan

I just went to Johor Bahru this afternoon and back. It was kind of stressful having the bosses sitting in the car while i drove. Overall, it was quite difficult to drive over there due to heavier traffic and poor road marking.

After our errands, we went to have our late lunch. The waiters and waitresses were Malay and it is currently Ramadan month and they had to fast. I had a bad feeling eating in front of them when they can't eat, how sad..

We then came back into this little island, and I sent them off and headed home.

New Beginning

I have given some thought to it and I have decided to continue blogging. Since my MSN space is gone, I will use blogspot to do the blog.

I am reactivating this blog from a capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.

moody song kran day

Today is 13th April, the first day of songkran festival (water festival), 2 more days to go.

i am very moody today because of many instances that happened to me today.

i bought a book today, it is about international business, international trade and finance. it cost 285 - 10% and i am reading it.

soon will be my birthday, i am wondering who will wish me on the day and not belated.

next is i think i am such an appendage. such a wastage. (dunno what a description is that) anywa, my education is disrupted, no local nor overseas... dunno why...

starving

I went on intestinal cleansing (dunno what ever it is called)

no eating for 3 days except drinking water and the beverages that was designed.

5-7 April were the days. wow, i almost fainted. i had no strength and i got headache the 2nd day. i got low blood pressure and kept seeing star from 2nd day on, even till the 4th day(the day that i already start eating)

sigh... i lost 3 kgs, and now i am gaining them back... hurhur, i weight on sat at 79.5, but now i am 82-83

Military Selection

The military selection on Sat 8th Apr

reach about 8:15 am, waited and waited for so long and was not called.

at about 10+pm, mu jub and pe~ roj appeared, and they went mk to eat at 12 while i waited till abt 12:50 when i was called.

went in and was out about 2:30 and was told that will hav the lucky draw at about 3:30 pm, but i waited till abt 6 pm, before they start to finishup.

at arn 6pm, i have spyed the place and found that the positions were full and they are finalising all the documents.

arn then, went to eat noodle that pe~ roj brought, and then went in again abt 6:30~6:45 and then was nervous. they announced later that the positions are filled up and there will be no lucky draw. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.............

must thank pe~ roj for the caring. and my mother for accompanying me the wholeday. i would never forget.

Why is my life like that?

Why do i need to be the one who suffer because of othrs fault? Is this the way my life gotten to be.

I was told be my sister something which made me very unhappy, all my plans were ruin. I will not let them go ahead with those plans.

Though i also lazy to go ahead with the plans, but i will wait for the upper to introduce me good deals that will satisfied me. (though it may be short term satisfaction)

Alumni

I got an email asking me to write on how BIT has helped me in my work/job.

This makes me think back, back very very far! so far as when i came to singapore 9 years ago. i left home to somewhere far away.

This makes me think back to the time when i was in Secondary school. how naughty i was, how nasty i was. the school that in holland V, walking to school. after school, walking home. or just walking along Holland V, it was a nice feeling and i wish i do it again. innocent me.

This makes me think back to the time when i entered poly. The first time i steped into NP was in 2001 when i was in sec 4. i went to the open house. and then got back alot of goodies... hurhurhur... next was when i finish my sec 4, i went there to collect information about the courses in NP but to no avail.

then the nexttimme was the enrolment. i still remember that that day was raining heavily, i went to see the master in the morning and then took cab from lowland road to NP, the cap stoped infront of the octogon, and i went in. after the enrolment, the rain stoped. and i went to order my notebook.

Orientation was fun, but i just hate it being the crown. I don't really like wasting of time. but i think the orientation was really ruined by the rain that fell on the first day of school. 3 days of orientation was sucky.

During my course of study, many innocent moments, many stupid moments, many selfish acts, but memorable. lecturers, students, i think i miss the old days. The person that i most admire in singapore is Mr Goh Chok Tong. I jsut like him, the way he governs the country. His heart... he is a good man. dun ask me further.

So How has BIT help me in my work? I think that BIT has its drawbacks, I think i explained this in my earlier post on why BIT is not suitable for me, but i still can come out on how it has helped me in my work.

Business & Information Technology. Firstly, i feel that this course provide student with all round education. You will learn many things that is related to busines, IT, and many other interdiscipline subjects. this let me to be able to vitualise, expecially the module ERP (Enterprise resourse palnning) and MIS(managing information System) These two modules help me to be able to integrate what i have learnt in class and apply them to my workplace. So far, i have been doing some system plannig and a little of management. Though management is not much of involvement but system planning requires knowledge that i got during my school days. i just find it difficult to explain. hahaha.

Unfilial Child

Am I an unfilial child? I was reprimanded so. I think i am not treating my parents with manners and respect. My attitude has become worse and worse.

I think i need to tell myself something. I just need to accept the fact! This is my life. I jsut got to accept it. It is my fate. Because i was not born to be liked. I am not the one. I just gotta accept it.

I am trying to do more readings as to widen my knowledge, but my english reading skill is going down the drain! oh my. hurhurhur. But what i want now is not really the matter of language but what i am reading. no matter what language they are in. i jsut want the fact. Reading let me know more thing, really. hurhur But reading also has its drawback as you will need to get away from people. that make you mroe quiet. hurhur. But i think it is good that you have time for yourself and not with people all the time. This way you can reflect on your life and what you did.

Erm, i think waht i am talking is becoming too cheem... hurhurhur...

I feel that i am having bad temper nowadays. I know it is not good. But everyone around me has it. and if i do not show it out, i think i will have a lot of pressure in me. I understand that it is bad for health yet i still..

e-biz link access

Yesterday I block the e-biz link access for nong because she offended me in someway of delaying some payment. i felt rather angry.

Today she called me and asked me whe i did so and i told her what i wanted to tell. and she was quite sad of what i told her. and i heard that she cried. anyway i think i talk to harsh but why is she like that to me? i just dun understand.

Erm, i reset her account once i got back.

Protest in Bangkok

The protest ended on 5th Feb morning peacefully. But they will come back again on 11th Feb.

I do not know what will happen then. Will Thaksin resign or dissolve the parliament. The future is very uncertain.

Very busy recently

ok, very busy with work recently, and i am having SAT test on this saturday. Don't really know why i signed up for it. haha. And the problem is i havent even study for the english part because they are too far difficult for me. another worst thing is that the test fall on CNY eve.

Then CNY is very near and i still havent tidy up the room yet. Still so messy. I think i must find time.

Next is the loss of money thru the unusual mean. I don't know why i am so stupid! super stupid. Hai, i think i need to think more. ok?

The lowest temperature it ever went was 21 degree celcius.

Weather

Thailand is 'cold' for the past 5 days already. The weather is so shoik!

The weather now is around 20-23 *C Wow, I like it so mcuh, bathing the cold water, the feeling is superb.

And was told by the weather forecast that the temperature will go down for another 2 * celcius and it will become hotter already.

Good business? of course, cold weather sell more clothes! however this year it is not as good as other years, dunno why, but still selling away all the stocks.

Frustrated

I really do not understand why She thinks that i can do everything. She think that i am very free and should do all the work. She feel that i should do more work as others could and i am doing too little and slacking all day.

It is really the matter of attitude, if you are slackful, you will have to take more time to do yoru work but if you are hardworking and do all the things without piling it on your desk, you can go home at 5pm. This is what i feel and it applies to some people.

One cannot go on doing all the things in the world. Work in a company must have a very good system of doing things. ISO is a very good framework for implementing a good system in an organisation. Work should be distributed in the organisation efficiently and effectively and not jsut stucked at just one department on just one person. This is a real bad work distribution. So manager or supervisor should know work delegation well and bring it to use in the real working world.

Driving License

I just got my driving license today. Went for briefing in the morning and then test in the afternoon.

I almost fail the test manz. Becos my car slide down the road when i left the car. (hehehe) Other than that, the rest were okay.

So now i can drive with less worries.

Friend?

What is the meaning of the word 'friend'?

1. A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts.
2. A person whom one knows; an acquaintance.
3. A person with whom one is allied in a struggle or cause; a comrade.
4. One who supports, sympathizes with, or patronizes a group, cause, or movement: friends of the clean air movement.
5. Friend A member of the Society of Friends; a Quaker.

But I am still stupid, i still do not understand the meaning.

I just know that if i make friend, i will try not to offend him/her. Who knows what will happen in the future?

Example: Mr A is my maths teacher, he previously taught in RGS. Ms B is the school principal who previouly attend secondary school in RGS and was taught by Mr A. Mr A now move to another school and Ms B graduated, became teacher, and finally the principal. Now Ms B is Mr A boss.

I feel that friendship is something that is needed to be treasured. It is bad to take friends for granted. Or if you have done it, at least wake up.

I would like to apologies to all my friends who i did offend you and made you unhappy for any instances. Please forgive me, and forget where possible. I would like to maintain the friendship with all the friends whom i have come accross with and not lose all of you with the wind.

I lost all the contacts for all my primary school classmates. The only one that i can still rememebr is where his house is, becos his house is jsut outside my house alley, I always look there, but i dare not go and meet him, afraid that he doesn't recognise me.

Friends in working world will be very different from friends from school. They are very self centered and have clear objective in mind why they want to know you. But all of them are not like that, i am just saying some.

I think i am talking too much, i should stop writing.

If you visit federal reserve building in Washington DC. On the ground floor, you will find an electronic game which test the visitor's skill at setting interest rate. Giving you the situation, e.g. rising inflation or stockmarket crash. if you answer them right, it will declare you the next fed chairman.

But in real life, things are not as simple. These are due to how the economy works, differ and of because many uncertainty.

What will happen after 31 Jan 2006? after Greenspan step down. who will succees him? will the person able to perform the job as well as greenspan? In Aug 1987, when greenspan took the post, everyone were also worrying whether greenspan will be able to do the job well.

The Financial market are normally more volatile in the first year after the new fed chairman tookup the post. In Oct 1987, the stock market creashed. But Greenspan was able to handle the situation well. Later, he was said to be the best fed chairman ever.

Will the history repeat itself? let see in 2006.

Suwannaphum Aiport: 27-29 Sep

The airport start the first trail flight. TG dunno what flight number start taking off and landing and taking off and landing. Thaksin tested the new airport on 29 Sep. WoW!.

The airport will be open for public use around next June. But many expected it to be ready only next december.

This airport got 4 runway which can have 4 concurrent planes taking off or landing at the same time. WoW!

Will this airport be able to compete with Hong Kong international airport or Singapore changi airport or not? let see. but i think it is a long way to go.
